Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Karl Ribas and I am a website design and marketing professional located within the Illinois Valley. I service both local and national clients.
While I primarily specialize in search, social media, and email marketing strategies, I tend to wear many different hats within my industry. I provide quality solutions through honest, straight-forward consulting and service, and possess the expert knowledge, skill, and experience needed to fulfill most website development roles. I am available to assist you with your design and/or marketing project, small or large. Feel free to contact me for a free project estimate.
I have been designing, maintaining, and successfully marketing websites since 2003, and have a great passion for doing so.
Like most, I began my career as a student. I studied graphic and website design at Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) and graduated from the program in 2004 with an Associate's degree. I am very much still a student at heart, and thoroughly enjoy improving my skills and knowledge through continued practice and education opportunities.
In 2003, I began working for All Web Promotion whereby I served as the company's Vice-President of Marketing. I was responsible for overseeing the development and growth of the division and played a substantial role in many of the company's day-to-day operations.
In 2013, I joined the team at LKCS - a leading provider of end-to-end design, marketing, and commercial printing services to financial institutions. Today, I serve as Marketing Coordinator and am responsible for identifying and implementing unique marketing strategies for our clients. I am also tasked with remaining updated on emerging marketing trends and technologies, as well as developing new service opportunities for the company.
I am the author of my own website development blog and newsletter, and have been publishing design and marketing related content since 2005. In addition to writing for my own blog, I also write for several top industry publications as well, including Search Engine Journal and the Yahoo! Store blog.
