Karl Ribas Launches Marketing Blog

Oglesby, IL., February 15, 2005 -- Looking for regular search engine marketing news? Like to keep pace with what's happening in the world of search? If so, tune into Karl Ribas' blog, a new resource for the website design and marketing communities. Ribas' blog will feature up-to-date news and events, as well as commentary on trends and best practices for established search engine marketers, as well as those new to the industry.

"Each week, I will touch base with my readers and share my views on many of the industry's biggest announcements, headlines, and tips," Ribas explained, "I have created this blog to serve as a resource for both Internet marketers and all others that become interested in the SEM industry."

In his first entry titled "Blogging with the Butler", Ribas informs his readers of Ask Jeeves' recent purchase of Bloglines - a blogging service provider. An excerpt from his post states:

"Ask Jeeves reported on Tuesday of last week that the company has purchased the privately held and popular Bloglines, a site developed for searching millions of personal web pages and aggregating news headlines. In an effort to keep pace with its rivals Google, Yahoo!, and MSN, Ask Jeeves plans to build a specialized blog search engine and fold the service into its various properties."

Ribas plans to offer search engine marketing related information regularly, in addition to other design and marketing topics.

"There are a lot of blogs online covering the website design and marketing, but very few are updated often," Ribas says. "My personal goal is to not only provide relevant and valuable content for my readers, but to do so on a regular basis."
