Oglesby, IL., December 9, 2005 -- Earlier this week, website design and marketing professional Karl Ribas announced his participation and completion of both Google's highly respected "Adwords Qualified Professionals" program and Yahoo!'s new "Sponsored Search Ambassador" program. These programs were developed as a way to improve, test, and measure one's knowledge over each of the Pay Per Click platforms. Pay Per Click account managers who meet the necessary requirements of each program, are deemed professionals and are rewarded with special branding and marketing honors.
Google's professional program is specifically for those who manage or wish to manage multiple Adwords accounts. Upon completion of the program, Google promises an increase in productivity, expertise, and knowledge allowing account manages the ability to save time and money when managing multiple client accounts. Google is also allowing all graduates of the program the opportunity to distinguish themselves as skilled professionals. Those that complete the program will be given special rights to use a personalized Google Advertising Professional logo on their website.
Google's requirements for attaining "Qualified Professional" status include managing at least one Google Adwords account with $1000.00 total spend for a duration of 90 days. In addition, each individual must pass an official Google Advertising Professional Exam. The exam lists questions and probable scenarios that an Adwords account manager may encounter while managing and maintaining accounts.
Yahoo!'s Sponsored Search Ambassador program is structured quite similar to that of Google's program, and was developed to help search engine marketers receive the tools and resources they need in order to run successful campaigns. Yahoo!'s requirements for attaining "Ambassador" status include passing an exam which tests one's own knowledge of the Yahoo! Search Marketing platform. In addition, Yahoo! Search Marketing requires that its ambassadors spend at least $10,000 per month in total Pay-Per-Click fees.
Additional "Ambassador" benefits include prioritized editorial processing, sales tools to enable account managers to sell and service their clients, and detailed reporting. Also, because Yahoo! has earned a highly regarded reputation as a successful search engine, ambassadors will hopefully gain a better reputation as search engine marketers.
In association with All Web Promotion, Inc. - a leading website design and marketing company - Ribas has met all of the requirements needed to obtain both honorary statuses.
"The exams weren't all that difficult, but they did have their moments", explained Ribas. "The exams focused on everyday 'how to' questions and really tested my knowledge of the Google Adwords and Yahoo! Sponsored Search setup, interface, and policies."
"I am always willing to do what is necessary to stay on top of search engine marketing", says Ribas, "these are both great programs, and I would highly recommend them to those serious about managing Google Adwords or Yahoo! Sponsored Search campaigns."
